Finance Major
A candidate with an excellent academic profile who was focused on top 50 universities. Initial consultations led to a set of criteria that produced a list of over 50 target schools. With additional work we helped narrow the list to a final 10 comprised of reach, target and likely candidate schools. This student was directly admitted to the school of business at Wisconsin (a top 25 business program) and was accepted to half the schools she applied. On Wisconsin!

English/Pre-Law Athlete
An excellent basketball player with interest from many Division II and III programs. The most difficult part of the process was deciding what would be the best fit both athletically and academically as he intends to go on to law school. As an excellent student, top notch academics were a priority, but what about playing time, scholarships and financial aid? After reviewing all offers (including a DII scholarship offer), the allure of playing at Tufts University in the prestigious NESCAC conference became his college home.

Education Major/Athlete
A cross-country runner who wanted to race in college, but wasn’t sure where she might be the best fit. Early on in her search there was only interest from DIII schools. After building a solid athletic resume and posting times on the relevant websites she made contact with the coach at Flagler College, a Division II program. After being invited for an official visit she was presented with a scholarship offer that was accepted.

Engineering Major
With engineering as his academic focus, this student wanted more than just an excellent academic experience. He wanted the full college experience with a thriving, exciting campus and world class sport teams to root for. As a California student he wanted to stay in the western half of the country and Oregon became his first choice school. Not only was he accepted, but he earned merit scholarship funds because of his superior academic performance in high school. He now proudly "throws his O".

Engineering Major
An excellent student with an interest in chemical engineering and desire for a school in the northeast. With many schools to pick from in the region it was a process of research and visitation that ultimately narrowed the list to 15 schools – all top 50 engineering colleges and universities. Looking at the combination of campus environment, program opportunities and financial aid, Katie chose RPI over several other terrific options.

Business Major
Despite a challenging upbringing and English as a second language, this student is highly motivated to change the path of her family. Taking advantage of every educational opportunity she could find, she was able to participate in dual enrollment programs at some of the most prestigious universities while still in high school. Creating compelling essays and telling her story not only earned her acceptance to more than a dozen schools, she received a full financial aid package to USC to make her dream a reality. Fight On!
